Cathedral Park Place is a saga that has just begun. Formerly the home of Columbia Sportswear, this space came on-line in the fall of 2003, following a summer long art exhibit and extravaganza called "The Modern Zoo." Located next door to Cathedral Park, twelve minutes from the Pearl District, this is going to be one of Portland's unique creative communities for the next twenty years. There is 280,000 square feet of space on a five acre site that consists of fifteen separate buildings joined together over the last ninety years. Multiple use spaces are everywhere, starting with twelve by twelve foot offices at $100 per month on up to a 10,000 sq ft chin dropper for $4,000 . For $1200 we have some of the most stunning high-cube studio loft spaces in the city; featuring arched brick windows, skylights, hardwood floors, and powerful views of the majestic St. Johns Bridge. Current tenants include commercial photographers, painters, writers, graphic artists, an internet distribution company, office furniture companies, booksellers, designers and an art gallery. We are targeting Spring 2004 to open a coffee shop in the building commons in the heart of the complex.
